Sarah and Giles' Wedding on The Mississippi River Boat, Horning
Sarah & Giles’ wedding was one of the most unique I’ve photographed for a while. My day began with Sarah and her girls getting ready at home, before we made our way to Horning in order to board the Southern Comfort Mississippi River Boat, where their ceremony and reception were set to take place.
Despite the close quarters of the cabin, the couple managed to fit their nearest and dearest in for their emotional and intimate celebrant ceremony led by The Ceremony People. After a few drinks and canapés, it was time for some group photos while their guests relaxed and watched the surroundings sail by as we travelled down the river. Cake cutting and their first dance followed soon after, and then it was time to disembark for confetti and a group photo back on land.
I had such a blast photographing Sarah and Giles’ wedding and watching as their two families became one. Their children truly made the day with their humour and shenanigans (as you’ll see as you scroll through the photos), and it was beautiful to see so many friends and family members coming together to celebrate Sarah and Giles’ love.
