For issue 7 of Parallel, I shot with Harnaam Kaur and Nik Hampshire for an editorial entitled "Let's Skirt the Issue". Harnaam Kaur, if you haven't heard of her, is Britain's "Bearded Dame". She suffers from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, which has led to excess hair growth - and resulting in one hell of a beard.

On Monday, I headed to Norwich Fashion Jam to take some photographs. After a 24-hour challenge in which the participants were given access to clothing and scraps donated by Age UK and had to create new garments out of them, the event culminated in a show at Norwich Castle Museum amidst the exhibitions and stuffed animals.

A couple of weeks ago, the opportunity came up to purchase a lens I had wanted for a really long time at a massive discount (thanks to my job): the Lomography 85mm f2.2 Petzval lens. The newly designed Petzval lens was released in 2013, funded by a Kickstarter campaign, and is based on an Austrian lens which originally came out in 1840.

The Designer's Show took place on Tuesday 12th of March at Epic Studios and featured work by local designers and students. There was an amazing variety of garments and accessories on show, and I was particularly impressed with the younger, innovative designers of Norwich.

On Friday I was lucky enough to have a shoot with local up-and-coming model Jude Wright, who I've been dying to set up a shoot with as soon as I spotted her a few months ago in a friend's images. We re-shot a few of the images I took a couple of a weeks ago, re-working them and playing with the lighting as well as working with several new dresses.
