Lauren + Vinny's Wedding at High Lodge Leisure, Suffolk

My final wedding of 2019 took place at the beautiful High Lodge Leisure in Suffolk, a luxury holiday park surrounded by acres of woodland and nature. The day began in one of the cabins, where Lauren and her bridesmaids were being pampered by makeup artist Louise Doyle and enjoying some Christmas music. As a hair stylist herself, Lauren soon moved onto her own hair, fashioning it into an elegant updo with beautiful pearl accessories.

After a few photos of the girls outside, we made our way over to the function suite, which had been fully decorated with the most amazingly festive decorations. The aisle was lined with candles, and Christmas trees sat behind the ceremony space. Their ceremony was short but emotional, with their little boy Rossi watching from his grandmother’s lap, and before long we were back outside braving the elements for some couple portraits, family shots and the confetti before it got too dark.

The speeches soon followed. Lauren’s father began with a heartfelt speech, pausing only to hand the couple a sheet of paper with little Rossi’s hand and footprints painted on. After the speeches, everybody settled down for a good old-fashioned carvery dinner. The amazing Christmas-themed cake, by Becs Cake Creations, was cut, and then Lauren and Vinny took to the floor for their first dance. Their chosen band, Totally Wrecked, then made their way to the stage to get the party started.

Lauren and Vinny share a love of Christmas, and so didn’t hesitate in booking a winter date close to the holiday season – and the result was a beautifully elegant and festive celebration, filled with love and laughter. Their decorations filled the room with warm and cosy light on an otherwise chilly day, which only added to the joyful atmosphere. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, these two pulled off the ultimate Christmas wedding.

Congratulations, Lauren and Vinny!
