Jess + Rob's Wedding at Blackberry Cottage, Norfolk

Jess and Rob chose to tie the knot at the church near to her childhood house, before celebrating in a unique venue: a beautiful holiday home in the heart of Norfolk, called Blackberry Cottage. The day began at her parents’ house, where Jess and her maid of honour were busy being pampered by makeup artist Marie Clark and a hair stylist from Garage Salon. Their ceremony at the nearby church was both intimate and emotional, and by the end of it there wasn’t a single dry eye in the house.

After a confetti throw and some couple portraits around the churchyard, Jess and Rob made their way to Blackberry Cottage in a vintage Morris Minor car with glasses of bubbly. The house itself was stunning, and a large marquee had been set up in the grounds. From the old photographs of the couple to the stationery, which had been handmade by Rob, there were personal touches throughout. Family portraits and some more couple shots in the rolling fields next to the venue led to the speeches and a delicious meal.

The room was soon turned around, with the DJ setting up and a caricaturist making his way around the guests. We snuck out for a few sunset snaps, before heading back in for the couple to cut their amazing tree bark-like cake by Cakes Beautiful. Their first dance came next, followed by an emotional father-daughter dance. Before long, the guests were all on the dance floor ready to boogie the night away.

Jess and Rob’s wedding was incredibly emotional and personal, and the gorgeous locations and wonderful guests only added to the palpable feeling of love and affection in the air. I am so happy for this amazing couple, and so glad their day was as perfect as it could be. Congratulations, Jess and Rob!
